July 2 - to Durham

Today we rode west to Durham to visit Laura again. I set the Gps to "avoid highways" so we took a little longer, but found some nice country roads...rural farms etc. Nice to look at compared to the highway.
We didnt get any pics today, but we got in in time and I rounded up oil and a filter and got that chore taken care of so we are ready for the next part of the trip.
I got up Saturday morning and started messing with the bike trying to figure out the problem with the Air Horn...(I had ordered a new one and had it shipped to Laura) ..turns out is wasnt the horn but the "relay" which the new horn had in the kit, so I got that fixed as well.
(Man I really could have used that horn a couple of times)..oh well.
Sunday I fly home for a week, then Back next Saturday. We may leave Sunday mid day, and head over to Kitty Hawk, then we want to hit DC, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg, and from there we will see.,

We made it to Key West!!!! 1671 miles so far per the GPS But it took a bit of time getting through the Miami area traffic on Hwy 1 Between Homestead and the Keys there was road construction and lots of swamp I saw a sign on this fence that said No Trespassing..Violators will be prosecuted. ...and I thought "or eaten"... I think that pic below is approaching Key Largo Several pics of the drive down the keys are below 7 mile bridge? Destination Realized...the original Margaritaville!! Doris working on a frozen "boat drink" That one is for Dad We walked around town in the evening and at one square they have street performers, this guy was a juggler, and did a short bit on the wire, with a gusting wind. Monday July 19 - To Fargo

Monday we rode from Rochester Mn to Fargo ND to visit and Aunt and Cousin. Clouds outside Rochester Landscape between Rochester and the Twin Cities ditto I'm guessing a refinery or chemical plant just south of the Twin Cities Minneapolis Skyline Some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes One of our Friends Rob and Sandys favorite haunts when they lived in this part of the country. L to R Doris, Jeff, Aunt Iva, Don Phyllis Aunt Iva is my moms's oldest remaining sister.

July 16 - Ohio - Indiana - Illinois

Thursday we rode from Wooster Ohio to Joliet Il...mostly along Hwy 30.
